China and US Promises the Reduction in Carbon Emission!

Yesterday the two most powerful nations China and US displayed their concern about climate change. Climate change is a global problem and every nation is concerned about it. Yesterday, the diplomats from all over the globe met at the United Nations. The purpose of the meeting was to cope up with the problem of Climate Change.

As we all know, every one was concerned about the views of United States on the Global Warming. It was Mr. President Barack Obama who confirmed that so far US was slow to react against the problem of Global Warming. Actually United States was a bit slow to recognize the problem of Global Warming and then again slow to respond to it, but any ways he assured the United Nations that US will move swiftly to fight against the Global Warming issue.

The fact that US and China are the two countries which together emit 40% of Carbon. This is in fact far more than any individual nation, so all other nations were looking towards the two to take some initiative against the Carbon Emission. Chinese President Hu Jintao assured all the delegates who were present at the conference and came up with a plan to fight against carbon emission. According to him it is a four point plan.

It’s not like that other countries are not concerned about their contribution in carbon emission. Japan and India both countries are a major carbon emitting nations, confirmed to slash the carbon emissions as far as possible. Japan even promissed to provide support to the poorer countries in the form of technical support and money.

Let us see how these initiatives will take shape in near future.
